What We Do
Caldwell Christians Care provides assistance to those in need within Burleson County through a dedicated food pantry and financial aid. We embrace a ‘Client Choice Model’ at our pantry, which allows our clients to choose from a variety of food items tailored to their dietary needs and household sizes. Your generous donations are vital, enabling us to not only provide these essential services but also to offer financial aid for utilities and other necessities to those in need. From shelf-stable goods to meats, we are able to help bring food to our community’s tables.
Our Story
Caldwell Christians Care is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that operates a food pantry and resale shop to provide assistance to Burleson County residents. Starting as a small volunteer effort in 1988, our organization has grown to include the Caldwell Christians Care Food Pantry. This collaboration supports our financial sustainability and also enables us to distribute a variety of essential foods through The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). We are driven by a mission to ensure no one in our community faces hunger alone.

Food Pantry Donations
Caldwell Christians Care Food Pantry warmly welcomes and appreciates your donations of non-perishable food items and monetary contributions.
These durable, shelf-stable food items help sustain our resource supply, while monetary donations are crucial in allowing us to continue supporting our Burelson County Community.
Retail Store Donations
Items welcomed: clothing, knick knacks, bedding, glassware, books, shoes, kitchenware, jewelry, DVDs/CDs, toys, seasonal items/decorations, small household items, etc.
We reserve the right to refuse donations if items are not in good, clean or sellable condition due to disposal costs and legal liabilities.
Drop-Off Times and Location
Please bring your donations to the roll-up doors located at rear entrance of Caldwell Christians Care retail store on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Helping the Burleson County Community
Our offerings include shelf-stable and non-perishable goods such as soups, canned meats, vegetables, rice, pasta, fruits, etc. We also provide breakfast essentials like oatmeal, jelly, syrup, and pancake mix. Additionally, our pantry stocks various proteins including frozen meats like ground pork, beef, pork sausage, and chicken, as well as fish fillets and shrimp. Eggs, cheese, frozen fruits, and juices are available when possible, enhancing the nutritional value we offer to those in need.
